What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

This review is long overdue - Cal’s presentation is entertaining, insightful and educational. You’ll have fun listening and just might learn a thing or two as well.

PNW_Listener_69 · Apr 2026

I’ll generally skip Ol Cal’s interview episodes, but when I saw that he had representatives Zinke and Vasquez in a room, I made time. We need more interviews like these — Americans who don’t see eye to eye on everything but can sit down in a room, be adults, and actively and optimistically search for ways to find common ground. Even if it’s just on one issue.

GetGoneAgain · Jan 2026

Ryan, your news scoops spark chuckles like a campfire’s pop! Your witty takes on headlines hit the spot. But, dude, your grumpy, opinionated growls could scare a bear—lighten up! Still, your spicy news rants craft a podcast dish I’ll always cop!

Tester of apps · Jun 2025

Don’t listen to the main podcast, but Tony’s Houndation segment is fantastic. Used to be a regular listener to his Sporting Dog Talk podcast and love getting to hear hunting dog content from him again!
