What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

This podcast talks about Sophie & Gideon’s personal testimony, their marriage, & individual walks with god. They touch on their trials, tribulations, & every day life: work, family life, kids, ambitions, personality types. (Their experiences Together- yet getting two different perspectives). I can truly relate to a lot that they speak on. It is nice to hear both a male & female perspective on family life and marriage. Sophie and Gideon encourage you to stay hopeful. It definitely forces you to slow down, take a look inward, recoup, remember who should be first-God. & take all relationships & friendships and ensure that Christ is at the forefront. Thanks Sophie & Gideon! ✝️🪶

I’ve been following on Instagram for a couple years now and last year my husband and I really started digging into our faith. We joined a church, I got baptized, we baptized our daughter, and are now volunteering in our church. I’ve had something heavy on me lately and episode 3 came out at the EXACT moment I needed to hear it. I’ve been asking God for an answer, is this the path we are going down? Am I to submit my womb to him? I’ve been on birth control for sooo long and it’s scary to think about the what ifs and judgments. But episode 3 had me stopping, at work in the middle of a project I was on, and just standing there frozen. Like ok this is his sign. He gave me what I asked for, and it helped take that load off. I don’t know the road the Lord has planned for us, but he WILL PROVIDE 🙏🏻❤️ keep speaking the word and speaking those hard truths. 2 years ago I would have never had this thought. But now I can’t imagine not following him and his plans for me.

I’ve loved listening to this podcast, Sophie and Gideon do an incredible job glorifying the Lord for His work in their marriage and lives while also being open and honest about their sin and work to fight for what matters most. I am encouraged after every one and just wanted to leave a review to thank them for their vulnerability and work in sharing of the gospel!

Your story is so similar to ours and it was so encouraging to hear. Not only do I love your content on social media but now have such a profound respect and understanding of who you are as a couple. Thank you for being so vulnerable. Also, had a literally belly laugh at your outro. I cannot love it enough.
