Jake does a great job summarizing and analyzing all of the current trends and (re offseason and trade deadline) rumors. He has a great understanding of the sport and conveys that well to the listener in a detailed and succinct manner (a true skill in monologues).
I have certainly improved my knowledge of the sport just by listening to him. What’s even better is he doesn’t blather on about the same thing over and over again; making sure only to cover the same ground if there has been an update or if listeners keep pestering him with questions on that topic. I honestly can’t say enough about how good of a job he does. Keep it up Jake and God bless! :)

Good content. Awkward delivery. The host has trouble pronouncing words, has weird syllable emphasis and pauses mid-sentence. Maybe this is something that just doesn’t come natural, but it makes this podcast really difficult to listen to.

I’m in PA and in enemy territory, but love listening to this content every day while I’m on my mail route. Very informative and makes my day go quicker!

Love the pod! When it seems like mlb pods avoid talking about the Braves (the best team in baseball) it nice to have a go to! Jake does a great job breaking down the good and the bad! I am an everydayer!

This is probably the worst Braves pod I’ve listened to and I’ve tried just about all of them. The podcast episodes with Grant are a little more interesting, but overall it just doesn’t seem like Jake is a Braves fan. He has no excitement in his voice. It’s just one boring “gear” that’s he’s in at all times. Also, there are no hot takes, and there is no meaningful analysis to be found. These are both essential for a quality sports podcast to keep it fresh and interesting.
It basically amounts to this, Jake will say, “It’s great to see Arcia heating up again” but he won’t go into detail about peripherals like exit velo or launch angle, or perhaps better plate discipline. The podcast is just blanket statements about the “what” instead of the “how” and “why”.
Although it only airs once weekly, I would strongly recommend checking out the flagship show on battery power. It is so much better than this.

Far too frequent ad reads make the show a no for me. No flow and not interesting enough to stick around. Locked On makes it hard to listen to any podcast because of the intrusive ad reads. Used to listen to Grant on every episode of From the Diamond.
