The first episode was strong, but the second one – with Dave Roberts and John Schneider – was unreal. It’s genuinely one of the best podcast episodes I’ve ever heard, and I say that as a lifelong Yankees fan. I expected Passan to deliver a good show when he launched the podcast, but after the Roberts/Schneider episode, he might already have the best baseball podcast out there. Phenomenal work.

Solid first episode with Skenes and Skubal. Looking forward to future pods. Not looking forward to more terrible ad insertion. Ads start playing out of nowhere in the middle of conversations. Shows a lack a quality and effort. It would not be difficult to run actual ad breaks instead of this automatically-inserted nonsense that breaks up the conversation. Just another pod behind a big media company that’s trying to cut corners.
