What a great podcast for advanced Spanish students! I admit that I have to listen at 0.75 speed, but that’s a testament to the commitment of the narrator to real native speaking. I’m very glad I found this podcast and have been binging episodes over and over, not only because the instruction is helpful, but also because the stories are interesting and pertinent to the real histories of Latin America. Short stories with transcripts, and an explanation of the story in English… this seems to be a great setup for success.
I’ve been wanting to find a resource to improve my ear and be able to expand my conversation in Spanish. This has what I’ve been looking for.

One of my favorite resources for spanish listening practice. It’s very helpful, especially when just starting out, to have the English translation so I can make sure I’m following the plot. I love getting my vocabulary exposure through stories than just boring flash cards.
