This is easily the best language learning podcast I’ve come across for any language I’ve tried to learn. Katie & Matteo explain concepts in a clear way that make them easy to understand. The length of each episode is also perfect. Great for language learning when you’re short on time. Thank you Joy of Languages!

I am so glad I found this podcast. I’ve been using Duolingo but I don’t really like their learning style. This podcast is fantastic. I especially love the episodes that go over the verbs and then use them in a conversation that you then break down word by word. It is so helpful and a great way to practice while I’m walking the dog. I also appreciate the cultural tidbits because Duolingo doesn’t have that at all.

I finally found MY best way to learn Italian. I spoke a bit of Italian growing up, took Italian classes in college, and tried various language apps. The reason this method works? I am involved with various conversations with Katie and Matteo as if I am in their living room and they are helping me understand the conversation. It really works! This summer, I am coming to Milano to start my journey through Italia and can’t wait to show off my Italian! Grazie mille, Katie e Matteo! 🙂

I’ve really enjoyed going through these lessons to supplement Duolingo as I prepare for a trip to Italy. It’s helping me turn my limited Italian into something I can use to get by. The hosts are very cute and do a great job talking slowly and not adding any filler that would distract from each concise lessons. Great editing and lesson planning. Thank you!
