I just discovered this podcast yesterday and I've binged the entire season. I REALLY hope that a second season happens. The story is dark and twisted but (sadly) completely believable. The voice acting is superb and the music and sound design is spot on! SO good!

If you’re a fan of horror or suspenseful stories this is a great podcast. Some parts were really gory and hard to listen to but it’s nothing that will haunt you terribly! I’m always trying to find a good story podcast to listen to and it’s hard to find good ones. I’m glad I was recommended this one! I hope they release more shows!

I’ve listened through episode 10 (the most recent upload at the time of this review) and can’t say enough praise for this podcast. The audio quality and voice acting are fantastic. The actress for Jane Doe is perfectly casted, and does an absolutely phenomenal job throughout. The story is the audio equivalent of a car crash you can’t look away from; it’s disturbing, horrifying, and completely visceral. I would describe it as a fictional true crime drama, and it plays exactly like an episode of Serial. The horror in this story doesn’t come through audio jump scares or from dramatic tension; in the vein of a true crime drama the outcome is almost always predetermined. Instead the horror comes from Jane Doe’s vivd descriptions of her time in captivity mixed with audio recordings. The content is gruesome, and one of the most disturbing stories I’ve encountered. What makes this story really special is that it doesn’t simply focus on the horrors that Jane Doe went through, but also what happened after, and how she returns to her life. Among the crime drama, this podcast tells a remarkable story of survival and rebuilding what was lost. Through the lens of Jane Doe, we find a surprisingly candid look of what life as a survivor is like, how the simplest things can be hard, but bring the greatest joy.

The voice acting for the most part is really good. The Tara character not so much, so the last couple that were Tara heavy drug on forever. The story itself was compelling and it is a great podcast to binge.
