I absolutely LOVE this podcast! Combines my favorite things: history, gossip, royals, sex, murder, and great hosts. Very glad that I found y’all. Well researched, thoughtful, and funny commentary. Can’t wait for more episodes. I’m sure you’ll cover Henry VIII at some point and I’m pumped for that!

Trashy Royals has it all. Two whip-smart hosts, plenty of trash to tarnish those crowns, but with a side of justification because I am learning something about history. Right?!

I’ve never left a podcast review before and I’m an avid everyday podcast listener. I can’t remember how I even stumbled across your podcast but I’m a huge fan! Love the history and the presentation. Completely entertaining and easy to listen to. I’m almost caught up on all your released podcasts. Definitely anticipating future releases!

I love royal history and these two podcasters do not disappoint! Their other Trashy podcast is a delight, as is Done and Dunne. Highly recommend for fun, trashy, and entertaining history.

I enjoy the informal style with nicknames etc, but Alicia in particular seems way more interested in “spiderwebs”, and “connections” than actual historical events. For example episode ostensibly about a real estate mogol instead was nothing but a list of the celebrities who visited her hotel. Meanwhile, the whole lives of fascinating historical figures (John of Gaunt, Anne of Denmark) are quickly skimmed over to save time for more “connection” lists.
