Horror Queers - Podcast Rankings and reviews

So glad I found this! I was on a search for a horror podcast that was fun, had good chemistry, covered a lot of content , was honest but not negative or seemed to not want to be doing it, and this is it! Subscribed to the patreon because I blew through the free content, such a great duo!

While the queer perspective is obviously a large, important, and appreciated aspect of this podcast, I think it’s important to note that Joe and Trace are just doing the best work in horror movie podcasting. I’ve enjoyed the pod from early days but they’ve really grown over the years- as podcasters and critics alike. The past six months to a year was a particular high bar for them, and I can’t wait to see where they go next. I also like that in general even when I don’t agree with their critiques, they’re very open to other reads and thoughts and admissions that maybe their take isn’t great. Entertaining, thoughtful, and doing the work.

This is my favorite horror movie podcast. Trace and Joe not only have great chemistry, but they both genuinely love and respect the genre. It’s infectious. They’ve turned me onto so many great movies I never would’ve considered watching. And their Patreon is hella worth it.
