The interviews that Justin does are extremely well thought out and at the same time he can deviate, flush out some great stories, and return to the original narrative.
One of the things that I enjoy the most is the idea behind the podcast for people to come on and share their stories for future generations to see what things were like “back in the day.” Imagine if these platforms were available post WWII. Lots of stories lost to the ages because the war was mostly not talked about.
Keep up the good work Justin. It would be cool to get updates on some of your earlier guests to see how they are doing these days. Good job.

As an active duty Marine this podcast is great for a multitude of reasons. While listening I get to hear some cool stories from current active duty mil and veterans, I learn from other peoples mistakes and accomplishments, and as an infantryman it helps me integrate with supporting agencies from the various MOS’s that have been on the show. Stoked for more episodes.

Having been in Pendleton and in the arty community this is a great show to hear the banter again, reminisce on living in San Diego and just my time with 11th Marines. It’s perfect for while I’m working. I have listened to every episode and always look forward to the next one. I recommend it to any of my friends who are vets, currently in, or looking to join.
