Good mix of political thriller and a bit of crime drama. Well paced and told from multiple perspectives. I also liked that the episodes are relatively short. Hoping a Season 2 is in the works.
I came for a little political suspense and got sucked into the characters! I like slow burns that make you think, and once the stage was set, this train really got rolling! 🔥🔥🔥
“Endgame” does a brilliant job of extrapolating from real world politics and economics into a scary but possible future for the country. This is a show for people who like thoughtful entertainment, people who like stories about the residence of the Second World War into modern life, and people who like stories similar to “Inglorious Basterds” and the tv show “Hunters”. Extremely well, written story keeps you on the edge and shifting narrative perspectives at a freshness to the storytelling. Mostly excellent performances by the actors.
pros : sounds great, slick production and great score cons : obnoxiously intrusive, excessive use of voiceover, pretty dismal acting at times, story that feels like it thinks it’s an edgy cynical political thriller but is pretty tame compared to the Actual Fascism of American Government. Writing explains too much, I have no patience for shows that overexplain Listened to 3 eps and calling it quits
