Eleanor and Alasdair reminded me of favorite bits of the Hobbit and uncovered some gems that I had overlooked. Two comedians’ rapid-fire banter could be a bit over-whelming but the co-hosts do take the occasional breath and listen to each other. They generously allow each other’s wit to shine. The downbeat of the series: a shared love of good books, if allowed to guide the series, will bring me back for more during the new year. Bravo!
