I love this idea for a podcast and Donnie and Chaps do a pretty good job with entertaining and informing the listener about geographic locations all around the world. This has the bones to be my favorite podcast if they fix their shortcomings, which are constantly drinking water into the mic and Donnie having too much control of the flow of the pod. At least once per episode, someone takes massive sips of water and loudly swallows directly into the mic. I mean come on, it’s nails on a chalkboard. Maybe get a good producer to make these easy edits to make the pod sound more professional. A little editing can go a long way. The content of the podcast is great, very informative yet interesting and funny. Donnie is very well traveled and both him and Chaps have an obvious love for history. My only qualm is that Donnie takes control of many tales and interviews and often puts guests in some awkward spots, which sometimes can be funny, but often ruins the flow of the podcast. Chaps is also a master at throwing in jokes from left-field that Donnie usually misses or makes a comment that can break the flow. Overall, some editing improvements and a better rapport between the hosts can bring this good podcast to a superb one.

Chaps and Donny have great chemistry and are really entertaining. It is relatively early in the lifetime of the show and the guests have been solid already. Captivating story telling from all involved. I hope they keep this going.

Still love Donny, but after listening for a couple months, I got tired of Chaps’ condescending, rigid tone to anything not directly aligned with his views. Became very off-putting after a while and made me stop listening.
