The pro of this show is he gets interesting guests. The cons are many. He never asks any even slightly challenging questions. Its 2 hours of “why are you so great?” in various forms. He constantly interrupts guests with his own stories. He seems trying to prove how connected he is by name dropping every other famous person he’s talked to. My advice: Let the interview breathe. Its not about you. Try to push the guests thinking in interesting ways. There is potential here.

David does a great job of setting the stage as he does with “Founders” only here you get to now hear directly from the source with a focus on more of the interpersonal and “behind closed doors” side of business. My go to every morning since finding it.

I used to think of founders as a podcast. Now I see it for what it is, the ultimate guide to entrepreneurship, creativity, and life. Thank you david, you’ve made me unmeasurablely wiser and more equipped to chase my wildest dreams. David Senra is just an extension of this but even more poignant. I saw some reviews saying you may talk to much but I think they can’t see that you are in this class of champions and how much you are adding. I honestly really enjoy learning more about your perspectives vs just straight biographies. Thank you !!!!!!

I really appreciate how passionate David is about his work, and I genuinely enjoy hearing his perspectives. However, he does have a tendency to interrupt his guests, which can make it difficult to listen at times—especially when the guests have unique experiences and insights that would be valuable to hear more fully. It would be great to hear him listen more and allow those conversations to breathe. While it’s clear that many of these guests are people he deeply admires, he doesn’t need to constantly reinforce that.

I love Founders, but I listen to one episode of this podcast and I’m not sure I’ll come back. I’m pretty convinced that David doesn’t heed his own advice and do one thing spectacularly, because in this podcast all he wants to do is hear his own voice, which is what he’s been doing for the last 10 years on Founders. He asks questions of these incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and experienced entrepreneurs, and then he constantly interrupts them to spit back information he’s learned in his books. His goal seems to be to show them how smart he is, not listen and learn. He doesn’t want to listen to what these people have to say. If you want to be excellent at this, go and learn about what it is to interview somebody ask a question, stop and listen. Your arrogance is showing that you talk over these people, interrupt them, and just want to have verbal diarrhea of all of the books that you read. In some cases, it adds value, but do it in a respectful way.

I was excited to hear the guests’ opinions/stories, but the host just constantly cut them off and inserted his own opinions and summaries. I’m sure the host is incredibly smart and knowledgeable about entrepreneurship but pls let the guests talk more. The host didn’t give the guest any opportunity to share their thoughts in DEPTH. For example, during the Dyson episode, Dyson was trying to explain how he created new products - he said there are two key ways and half way thru his talk before he gets to finish his first point, the host just started inserting his opinion and Dyson didn’t even get to finish his answer. It’s a pain to listen. What a shame.
