I’ve made it my goal this year (and every year after) to read the entire Bible. I needed to do a better job locking God’s word in my heart. However, I don’t always have a time to sit down and do the daily reading. This format is perfect to keep me on track. I love the simplicity of the format. I enjoy the prayer at the end. And the ability to download multiple chapters all at once and then listen to them while I’m commuting or on a plane has been perfect. thank you so much for doing this! The reader’s voice (John) has a richness to it which makes listening truly enjoyable.

This is my attempt to “read” the whole Bible after realizing I don’t have enough time or patience to read the paper Bible as often as I can listen to podcast which allows me to multitask. Pastor John’s prayer at the end helps me understand the chapter better because he sort of summarizes the key message so I find it helpful since I’m reading a lot of the scriptures for the first time. The length of just a few minutes a chapter makes it very easy to do this daily whenever you find a moment so thank you for making this an option so I can deepen my faith.

Sitting at the table for breakfast, my children and I often listen to an episode. The expression of your voice and modern translations of the Bible are helpful. I also appreciate the way your closing prayers reflect the passage. The Audio Bible is an enjoyable way to learn God’s Word.

…you’ll be amazed at how much of the Bible you can be exposed to with just one chapter per day. I’m a busy mom of four, and one chapter a day is all I can manage. Sometime I even listen while I’m brushing my teeth and bouncing a baby on my hip. I think John’s voice enhances the text rather than distracts from it (I can’t stand some narrators!). Have been listening for a whole year and I am so thankful. You can always stop at the end of the chapter if you don’t care for his prayer/commentary, but I usually enjoy it.
