This podcast has been a joy to listen to as a 26 year old single guy, it makes me excited to be a husband someday and motivated to do what I can to be a better future husband. Thank you Brian and Lexy for blessing us with this content
My husband recommended I listened to this podcast after he listened to Haunted Cosmos and King’s Haul. I wasn’t really into listening to podcast like I used to be at the time so I put it off for a couple weeks and then I listened the first episode and I was hooked. I spent all last summer binge listening to this podcast and discussing practically every episode with my husband. I can’t remember the last time I listened to a Christian podcast for or about wives that didn’t spend the whole time pitying me for how hard it is to be a wife and mom and spending the whole time just “encouraging” me. Sometimes you need that after a hard day but I was honestly kind of sick of it. To hear Lexy straight up say, “wives, stop doing that.” is music to my ears. This is what discipleship looks like and I’m so thankful to learn from Brian and Lexy through the their podcast. Before listening to their podcast I never thought I would think that the 19th amendment was a bad idea or that I would wear a head covering, but here we are and I’m so thankful. I know that my husband is grateful that I understand more about what it means to submit to my husband in everything as is fitting to the Lord and I’m more excited and joyful to do it everyday. Plus I learn more and more all the time of what this looks like in my home in pracitical application through their advice and other recommendations they’ve provided such as books like Simplified Organization I might never have heard of if it weren’t for Lexy. My husband and I also have a Christian Marriage podcast and I’ve had people tell us they feel like we’re best friends with them because of how much they hear our conversations - I always thought that was so funny but now I totally understand because that’s exactly how I feel about Brian and Lexy. We thank the Lord for y’all’s faithful obedience to God’s Word and sharing how you live it out with us. P.s. I can’t imagine how busy y’all are but it would be my dream come true for you to go back to posting episodes every week!!
My husband and I have benefited from multiple resources by the Sauves and have found this podcast to be encouraging and upbuilding. I like that these episodes usually provide me with food for thought to chew on/something to bring to my husband. While I could binge episodes, I often prefer to listen to one at a time in order to allow my mind to work through the ideas discussed. I’ve found it spiritually beneficial for me and helpful for my home overall to engage with the ideas presented in the episodes and to further discuss them with my husband regarding how/what we might apply/believe regarding our household. A 10/10 recommend!
This is seriously one of the best podcasts available. If you love the Lord and want practical advice for cultivating a biblical home life that glorifies God, Bright Hearth provides exactly what you’re looking for in a very unique way by engaging the listener with warm and entertaining conversations between Brian and Lexi who just happen to be probably the most adorable couple on the face of the planet.
