I appreciate this podcast and the way it pairs with a Bible-in-a-year reading plan and workbook. It has helped me slow down, reflect and apply what I’m reading.
One of my favorite parts of the podcast is the daily emphasis on God’s character and how they consistently point to Jesus. I also enjoy hearing the different takeaways from each of the podcast hosts. There is so much they could cover in each day’s reading, but they continually get to the heart of who God is and remind us why the gospel is good news every single day. I also appreciate the humility and vulnerability of the hosts as they share some of their struggles. They are relatable which helps me apply what I am learning.
My only downside has been the ads. At first, they were just at the end, but for a bit the episodes nearly doubled in length and included ads in the middle of the hosts’ conversation. I found that distracting and it interrupted the flow of the discussion. Thankfully, that hasn’t been the case recently, which has made the listening experience much better.
Overall, this has been such a helpful companion to reading through the Bible and has continually encouraged me to know God more through His Word.

I have thoroughly enjoyed walking through the Bible with this podcast. I like the simplicity of the recap each day. I have learned a lot, but even more important than that I find that when spend time meditating on God‘s word every day, even if it’s only for 10 minutes, it puts the word in my heart and I can draw up on that throughout the day.

I just completed Genesis with Season 5, and I can’t wait to wake up in the mornings to listen and learn and reflect. This isn’t my first year through the Bible, I’ve completed 3 season with The Daily Grace Co, and several before that, but this one has been my favorite. Scott did an amazing job with Genesis. I can’t wait to hear what’s next!

This is my first year going through the Bible with DG. I’ve done TBR in the past which I really enjoyed. This year, as I was getting ready for the year coming up I found the new year long study, “Christ in all of Scripture”. I have loved having the hard copy to follow along with. I’ve already learned so many tools of how to get the most out of each day with annotations and looking for different things while reading! I love the pod as something to round out my reading time and to continue to process it throughout my day! Thank you for your ability to point it all back to His character and the overarching story of redemption!
