Jimmy Connors is a tennis legend having played professionally for over 30 years. His record 109 ATP tournament wins still stands today, & includes 8 grand slam singles titles. Brett Connors is a producer for Tennis Channel and has worked in live tennis production for 15 years. Having also traveled the tour with his father in the 80’s and 90’s which gives Brett a unique view of the sport.

I loved listening to both of you talk about the excitement of the US Open. I was a ball girl at the US Open in 1984 (I was 17). I was with Pat Rooney when we ran into Jimmy in the tunnel leading to the Grandstand court. I will never forget how nice Jimmy was—-kind and gracious, stopping to talk to an 80 year old man who had dedicated his life to NYC tennis even though he was heading out to play a grand slam match! I have never forgotten the beautiful exchange I witnessed and always wanted to tell Jimmy that he made a huge impression on me as a kid because of that off court exchange. So hopefully this message will get to him.

I'm a huge fan of Advantage Connors and have subscribed to it for several years. Particularly enjoyed their interview with Bjorn Borg a few years ago - and loved their interview with Gary Player! Great dynamic and banter between father and son - I especially love Jimmy's fire-in-the-belly competitiveness with that distinctive Belleville Illinois accent!! Keep up the good work, Men!

Highly recommend! Advantage Connors was the first tennis podcast I got into—and it's still the best out there. Jimmy Connors is one of my all-time favorite players. I love that he's remained active in the tennis world, sharing his insights and experience. He and Brett do such a great job covering the latest tennis news with a balance of honesty, perspective, and fun. It's always a privilege to hear from a legend like Jimmy and get a glimpse into the mindset of a true champion. Most importantly, the podcast makes my long work drives so much more enjoyable.
