1 Year Daily Audio Bible Chronological

Chyna and Jill do an excellent job of reading the Bible! It makes me feel as though I would be reading aloud and missing a word every now and then —— no big deal! They love the Lord and they love connecting with the DAB Chronological family….and this is what matters! Highly recommend DAB Chronological!

This podcast has made such a difference to my spiritual life, now every morning while I get ready for my day I listen to God’s word. I still read my Bible nearly every day, but listening allows me to cover a lot more biblical ground than I would normally have time to do through reading. This is my second year listening to chronological, (the year before that I listened to the regular DAB podcast with Brian). I planned to listen to the regular DAB podcast this year, but when I found out Jill and China would both be doing, I decided to stick with chronological for another year.

Have appreciated China’s faithfulness to read DAILY for us. I can probably count on one hand the number of people her age that are that disciplined with God’s Word. I can’t even be faithful to listen to one episode a day, much less to get out there and read one every day. There have been times I’ve been frustrated with the mispronounced words. But the Lord keeps coming back to me with, “so what are you doing for me on a daily, consistent basis like she is?” I then have to repent and give grace - grace that He gave to me first. So, thank you for your faithfulness and your ministry to us.

A great podcast. I love listening to the Bible in chronological order. The reader’s comments and prayers at the end are spot on. Thank you for your faithfulness in putting this project out there for the world.

I’m updating my review because after 3 years I tried coming back to this version. Three years later and China still cannot read common English words, or common Bible words correctly. I’m going to pay for the Dwell app. Maybe with pay, their readers will be edited. I love audio Bibles but I do not recommend this podcast. Full stop. Also I listen in the overdrive app, and lately the podcasts have been messed up. Doesn’t seem to be a problem in Apple. The lack of holding yourself to a higher standard and putting the best work possible out is disappointing to say the least. I’m leaving my review from 3 years ago on here so folks can see. *** I switched this year from the original DAB to this version for something fresh and a new way to look at the Bible. I have struggled these past nine days listening to this because of mispronunciation of incredibly common words. Listen, I’m willing to give grace for weird names and places (although you really can research and practice those), but the basic reading errors that make ZERO sense when you make them should really make you stop. Maybe carve out some time for editing? Or add a different producer who might catch them for you? You are so sweet and sincere, but please listen to constructive criticism! I noticed you mentioning your mispronunciations earlier this year, and I just assumed you meant the weird bible terms. No ma’am. It’s something you could really work on. Reading aloud in an engaging manner takes work and effort, ask any stage actor. Maybe seek wisdom from a pastor (or your daddy) or another public speaker who could give you some unbiased help on tone, and engaging reading, and just overall reading words correctly the first time. I cannot decide if I’m sticking with you or going back to the original. This has been a tough 9 day switch. I want it to work. If this was literally your ninth day ever with a podcast it would be easier to stay, but you've had this long enough, and there are old enough reviews it makes me struggle to trust it will get better.
