What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Thankful for stumbling upon this as I’ve been desiring to be connected to other worship bassists as I’m wanting to develop more in this role at church with no one to really glean from or talk to. Love Jays heart for the “guys like us”

ggarber · Feb 2026

This is about as nichey as a podcast can be that I can totally get on board with in a huge way! Once I discovered it early on I binged the early episodes in one day and now can’t wait for the next one to come out, wish it was EVERY week! As bass players in our churches we are sort of lone rangers and it’s great to feel a part of a greater community with this podcast and learn from other players’ struggles and victories. I love Jay’s heart in keeping it about worship and serving the church but also with a healthy dose of gear talk which we all just can’t avoid and love so much. Throw in some coffee and it’s a perfect trifecta of some of my very favorite things in life!

The Phil Lawson · Nov 2025

I love this podcast! My inner bass guitar nerd is happy hear as I listen to all the stories and gear chat. Thanks for this content Jay!

OptimusFace · Feb 2026

I love worship, bass, and coffee, so this is right up my alley. Seriously, this is a great podcast for serious worship bassists.
