What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

The family and I have been listening and enjoying since episode one. While we listen to a lot of radio and podcasts, this is the only audio that my kids proactively request. “Dad, can you check if there’s a new Wild Interest?” While junior listeners might not consciously appreciate the high production value and consistency of the show format, a closer listen leads one to understand how and why the kids crave more—there’s so much going and such a great energy to these programs. What’s most impressive is how effortlessly natural and unaffected the kids sound at the mic. The adults involved are obviously doing double-time to write expertly-crafted scrips and create a fun environment during the recording process. Inspirational parenting, great radio. Worth a listen/subscribe!

My 8 year old son says, “I feel like this is the best podcast I’ve ever heard. I like that you share jokes, and bring in grandparents for stories, and there’s so much interesting stuff packed in the episodes. It’s overloaded with awesome. It’s something I really look forward to listening to.” THANKS!!!

SecretSquirrel244 · Aug 2024

This podcast saved my summer roadtrip through the Southwest. Our sons (9 and 11) love it, and as a parent, I love that it’s never mean, never adversarial, often weird, and always as smart as kids themselves are.

GarthBuddy · Jul 2024

This show buys me peaceful car rides. My kids are rapt. Meantime, it’s actually fascinating, sweetly funny, and heartfelt. It covers eclectic, interesting topics and answers questions I didn’t know I had. The kids are fantastic interviewers - and even my own mom (aka grandma) asked me to replay an episode last week. So that’s an 8 to 80 audience appeal. Amazing
