Started listening to this podcast during a difficult time in my life and it’s now become a staple in my daily routine. I love the interesting and informative bits of history I learn. There is a true comfort in hearing Elise say, have a great day. Thank you.

I listen to the podcast every day as part of my morning routine and really enjoy the host and brief history lesson. But as another reviewer wrote, in the March 14, 2025 episode it was stated that Einstein had email! Quite a while back I was listening to an episode where it was said to be an anniversary of one of the Space Shuttle disasters. I remember being baffled at the time because it was probably around April, but I knew that the disasters happened in January and February. And just today, the anniversary of the problematic Apollo 13 mission, they stated that the lunar module successfully splashed down in the Atlantic. But it was the command module that splashed down, as the lunar module was jettisoned (as it always was) in space as it was not designed to survive reentry. Again, love the pod but if you’re making a two minute long history podcast, take two minutes to get the facts right!

I love short daily podcasts. This one summarizes important history that happened on each day along with a little known fact about it. Unfortunately, half of each episode is an endless commercial on either end. If the ads were shorter, perhaps I wouldn’t take the time to skip around the ad bc the podcast content is so good.
