Very entertaining podcast, South is a true renascence man when it comes to hunting but even better at storytelling, which is by far why we hunt, look at the cave drawings of hunts in the past, those animals might be extinct reduced to their atomic level makeup by now but the story lives on with the photo, this podcast is a cave wall on a much larger scale. Love the podcast South.

I have been shooting a recurve for about three years. My first time out I took my six year old son and we shot a yearling whitetail doe within 10 minutes of hunting. The next year I only shot a grey squirrel but those hunts are two of my very favorites. I’ve killed a pile of critters with guns but following an arrows flight is a thrill that beggars description. I love your podcast and videos because I get to stalk mule deer vicariously. I am really enjoying your readings of Mike Mitten’s book. Please keep it up, South!

This is one of my favorite podcasts out there. The diversity of topics and South’s personality are a great mix. I appreciate South being a real, down to earth host and not trying to create some “hunting celebrity” persona. I like the guest selection and hope to continue to hear from a variety of spot and stalk specialists.
