Adam Pennington is equal parts expert and enthusiast when it comes to a time period in which so many of us are enthusiasts. Every time I find I have learned all I can about a particular niche topic within this subject, this podcast uncovers nuances that always leave me with a worthwhile takeaway. I am so glad I became a paid subscriber because the episodes are so very worth it! It’s become one of the must listens that I look forward to each week. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very entertaining podcast. Good range of authors and academics interviewed. Would benefit from more editing and the podcaster has a tendency to interrupt his interviewees on a continual bases which means he can dominate his subject’s attempts to present their opinions, research or hypotheses. But if you have time, and love Tudor history, it’s a joy to take a deep dive

I really enjoy Adam’s episodes where he dives into different historical figures from Tudor history, especially the lesser know (but equally as interesting) people. The interviews are great too though! Just watched My Lady Jane on Amazon so it was wonderfully timely to hear an interview with the author.
