There are few WNBA podcasts that go hard into stats and game play. The Ringer does more analysis than most. The focus is on the game rather than the personalities of the hosts. I am enjoying this pod so far. Keep going deep on game talk, gang! 👏👏👏
Love Seerat’s takes and analysis! I have to say though, I often feel annoyed with some of the male guests. Mostly because they seem to take up too much space in the conversation (giving mansplaining vibes). Overall this is one of my go to pods, but I’ve been close to turning it off due the mentioned comment. I love women led spaces and women hoops!
Updated review: HELL YEAH, I feel like somebody read my complaint. The past few eps have had really interesting give and take. Great content, great guests. Can actually learn about the guest and see Seerat play off them. Conversations! Love it. Great show. Can’t miss it. Old review: I forget there’s a guest most of the time. Seerat, been a fan for 10+ years but you gotta actually let the guest speak. “Let’s talk about this interesting Vanderbilt article…” *spends 5+ minutes monologuing* I would rather have a Seerat solo show than have interesting guests who get to talk less than a quarter of the time!!! I always get something great from the show but it’s stating to bother me.
I LIVE for this pod! This is the level of analysis OG WBB fans have been craving for decades. But these audio delays with your guests make it hard to follow the WBB conversation we all DESERVE. Please help us out and fix this!
I want to like this podcast so bad. They have some great takes and perspectives. I expect every podcast to have a level of obsession with Caitlin Clark, but it’s getting to a point where I have to unsubscribe because she’s not the only one in this league. The latest ep was my last straw: “Caitlin Clark’s First World Cup” like it’s not Paige, Angel, Soni, Kiki etc. as well. I know it’s about getting listeners so they use the name, but I miss integrity and am done with this one.
Love having a new WNBA podcast, but wish there was a bit more structure/production value similar to how it seems like The Ringer invests in their NBA podcasts. Would love more guests or even a co-host to give more variety of takes, most of the episodes are only about the big names (CC, Liberty, Aces, etc.) when there’s a lot more storylines in the W at the moment.
