The chemistry these two have is absolutely unbelievable! If I was Anthony’s wife I’d be jealous - LOL ;) So entertaining amusing and informative. I am a Founding member and the Friday episodes can’t come fast enough. Thank you Katty and Anthony for teaming up and providing the incredible experience of listening to you!
I hate to admit it after the election but their analysis came closest to the truth. They are so charismatic together and very, very smart. Brilliant podcast, full of charm, humour and sock it to you reality from people who actually know stuff.
I just wanted to say not only do I feel that I’m well informed after watching your podcast but it puts me in a good mood because Katty & Anthony have this incredible chemistry , love the back and forth banter! 5 stars , a 10
From an unlikely duo where the differing backgrounds add considerable value. Its also a pleasure that their discussions are frank, articulate and marked by mutual respect and good-humour. Anthony’s financial insights offer perspective often missed in usual political circles. Plus in one episode he recommended the Iliad, which — he is right- is a brilliant exploration of the difference between fighting with honor vs fighting out of vanity or pique. It was really illuminating to read it in light of the current political environment. It’s rare that a political podcast helps me gain a larger perspective but this one really does.
I have enjoyed this podcast A LOT for the past few months. But the healthcare episode was embarrassing. First, the title “how to fix a broken healthcare system”. Not only was there virtually no discussion of solutions (except Katy saying “some mix of public and private”) but it’s clear that neither of you know much about the topic. Anthony’s “fast forward” to Obamacare implied that was the cause of insurance companies denying claims?? Still unclear why he brought up Reagan’s ER policy, but that was it. There was zero conjecture on any of the political aspects of this horrible news - what might it mean for Trump’s healthcare policies, will he politicized this horrible killing, etc. Please stick to politics, where the two of you are very credible and compelling. Or at least please have a chat with whoever writes the titles of your episodes!
I’m a centrist squish and political orphan who enjoys listening to intellectually honest discussions and analysis by people on both sides of the political aisle. Some of this is good and interesting, but way too often it devolves into what sounds more like standard partisan hackery than actual objective analysis.
