What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I am grateful for Rabbi Daniel Lapin sharing his wisdom! This podcast is full of wise and helpful advice for many different facets of life. It will be the best 45-60 minutes of your day.

Clonumber3 · Oct 2023

Ready for brass knuckles truth delivered through a velvet glove? With the precision and logic of a Mechanical Engineer Rabbi Lapin dissects woke culture and the ephemeral whims of current times. His focus is on the foundation, about "The Things That Never Change", truths that have survived through 3000 years of history, and will shape history for the next 3000 years. Rabbi Lapin's work lifts Russel Kirk's "permanent things" and leverages it with the steps, the tools and the attitude to confront the world of today, as a happy warrior. Lapin teaches an unchanging spiritual foundation to success which you can use to transform the physical and material world around you. Rabbi Lapin gives you the answers to the test of life, through the bible. You just have to be ready to provide the questions, the hard questions.

Rabbi Lapin is a brilliant orator. He has the ability to distill complex thoughts to elementary wisdom. I am blessed have discovered his book and this podcast!

tigeraf23 · Oct 2022

In this day and age of hyper partisan politics, it’s refreshing to hear from someone with a perspective derived from fundamental values. His wisdom gives the listener a perspective on life that reflects the wisdom of thousands of years of human experience. I wonder how much better my life would have been if I had heard Rabbi Lapin when I was a young man. Better late than never! Thank you Rabbi Lapin for sharing your Jewish wisdom.

TomPatten · Jul 2021

I’ve read Rabbi Lapin’s books and share many of his values regarding faith, family and finances. My husband and I raised children who are thriving and have sound fiscal judgement. We are starting a business in addition to holding primary jobs. Our church demonstrates and preaches excellence in the areas above. The rub is we are black. After listening to your lower class vs upper class assessment it became painfully clear of your racist slant. At one point you claimed race isn’t an indicator of class, but soon after made a sweeping judgement that the majority of blacks were lower class “had poor values”. This isn’t true and I refuse to accept this damaging rhetoric. I’m disappointed you didn’t include the industrious and ambitious black immigrants from the Caribbean and West Africa as part of the “upper class”. They arrive on our shores to take advantage of educational opportunities and create businesses. My grandfather was one of those immigrants. While I understand black people in this country are disproportionately represented in prisons and on welfare, It is also understood how egregiously biased laws, caste like social constructs and blatant violence toward someone for having brown skin can stagnate progress. And despite it all blacks are contributing mightily to this nation. I am black with high values and there are many like me.

R.S. Lewis · Mar 2021

I really liked this podcast initially and I do think there is a lot of great content. I don’t necessarily agree with everything he says but I am open to different perspectives. The thing that really turned me off was the claim that abuse and trauma are “undefined” therefore shouldnt be used. This is simply not true, they are clearly defined. Different types of abuse such as physical, emotional, financial etc. are real, and very clearly defined in the medical community. I understand not wanting to be “victim” to anything that happens, but to completely deny that abuse and trauma are real is quite inaccurate and shouldn’t be perpetuated. Also, he insinuates that Jusaism is prolife which is actually not in alignment with the reformed Jewish communities stance. The Torah clearly makes a delineation between a fetus and a person, and states a woman’s life is of greater value.
