Our daughter started listening to Mystery Kids Podcast at bedtime to wind down before faking asleep. The episodes are always interesting and educational for kids. There are a variety of different topics. As parents, we have learned new things ourselves like details on Amelia Earhart, Skeleton Lake, or the Yeti. Our daughter has listened to episodes dozens of times. It’s a big hit for our kid that loves to learn!

Finally something I can listen to along with my kids. They love this show and so do I.
We all love spooky, scary things like true scary stories but they’re not always appropriate for kids. Thanks for making something family friendly!

My kids love listening. The content is interesting and educational. Tess’s voice is hard for me to listen to, maybe I’m just sensitive but there’s so much breathing and mouth sounds in between words. Plus noisy kids in the background. It would be easier to listen to if those were cut out. Hopefully that’s helpful feedback?

My kids and I enjoy the stories and information as it’s short and fun! Some challenges are the pronunciation of certain words. We understand some of these stories are from different countries so please research how to correctly pronounce them to honor that story and the culture. Love the worksheets, coloring pages and pictures too.

My daughter loves mysteries so we had high hopes for this podcast. Some of the episodes are well-told, but MANY of them have terrible audio quality (as if the hostess is walking around the room and sometimes across the room and hard to hear while at other times is close to the mic and louder), and lots of background noise. It’s even more frustrating that she mispronounces names. Please take the time and effort to learn the correct pronunciations. Finally, it often feels as if she is reading directly from a book or website (or multiple sites). She ends up reading long lists of mispronounced names or boring timelines, then skipping around the story, circling back, repeating herself and generally confusing the listener. I think there is potential for the podcast to be really excellent and feel that what is missing is prep time to learn how to pronounce names and to rewrite the research into a coherent and captivating story.
