Hilarious, well written and well performed. So many comedy podcasts are just people who aren’t actually very funny talking over another person who also isn’t actually very funny. This is not that. More Hot Fuzz than morning crew zoo garbage, it not only nails the genre it’s spoofing but also doesn’t solely rely on that concept for the laughs. On top of that, the voice actors really deliver. Really hoping for a second season or even another project by the same crew.

“This is the funniest podcast in history” declared my 12 year old after episode one, and I agree fully.
The absurdist humor, pudding puns, over-the-top and under-the-top characters had me laughing for days (I recently binged).
Please, someone pick up this series for a second season!!! I’ve gotta have more Shady Grove!

Come for the crime spree, stay for the hot wings. The Murderer Killings is what happens when Jack Canfora and Michael Satow (who also plays podcaster Charlie Incarica, a name so Italian-American it should come with a side of gabagool) decide the true crime industrial complex has earned a public flogging. Over ten 19-minute episodes, Charlie uses expiring airline miles to embed in Shady Grove, home of a pudding foundry (not factory, foundry), to investigate the murder of pudding heiress Amanda Putnam-Hart, a former 'pudding-based performance artist' in Berlin. Suspects include her twin brother, her estranged husband (whose mother is the Governor), and Margaret Mandragora-Jones, 'thick as a glacier with a thyroid condition.' COVID hampers the investigation and Chief Ebner's access to hot wings. The mayor embezzles relief funds to stage a 'One-Man Christmas Carol.' The trial opens January 6th, 2021, and a forensics finding 'justifies, at minimum, three more episodes,' the genre's most honest sentence. Five stars.

I binged this “true crime” podcast and found myself laughing at loud (and that never happens). Beautifully narrated by Michael Satow, the writing is smart, funny and endlessly entertaining. So many great lines. If there is a G-d, this will go viral.
