The Lovable Reunion isn’t just another nostalgia play.

There’s something refreshing about hearing Rizzo and Ross talk about the 2016 run like teammates again. Equal parts hilarious and heartfelt. One minute you’re laughing at stories that probably never should’ve made it out of the clubhouse, the next you’re right back in Game 7 wondering how your heart survived.

What really comes through is l that team wasn’t just talented…it was connected. You can hear it in the way they talk about each other. No ego, no revisionist history, just a genuine appreciation for what they built together. It reminds you why that group felt different… and why it still does.

Hearing Rossy and Rizzo talk about those times in 2015-2016 brought back all of the memories and thinking about where I was and what I was doing. These two play off of eachother with such ease that it’s like we are just eavesdropping on two friends reminiscing about the good ol days. Can’t wait to hear them bring in other guys from that team as we go along. Such a special group from an outside perspective, and you can already tell from episode 1 that it was that much more special on the inside.
