Respectfully, the music segment has gotten long and uninteresting. It seems like it’s trying to become its own show within a show. If that’s the case, make it the very last segment. What happened to Dustin’s tv recap? I get that yall have the patreon, but shorten the music man segment and give us a few minutes of the tv talk with Dustin. Give the music segment its own show, have a SMALL recap of it on the main pod and give Dustin back some time for his tv talk. And bring back the freestyling at the top of the show. Remember when Fran came on singing? That’s the music segment I’d sit through!

I’ve been listening to this podcast nearly every week for the last 3-4 years and I couldn’t even get 30 minutes into the last episode because of the weird way Fran and Dustin react to and interrupt Assanté. It’s a consistent thing but before it was just a bit annoying but now it’s uncomfortable and mean. I thought I was the only one who thought this until I read the other reviews here and a couple of comments over on Spotify… idk but I just cannot listen anymore :(

This podcast has been great for laughs, but the Backpack Rapper episode a bit of a disappointment. I agree that not everyone needs to publicly state via instagram their opinion about the genocide that is happening in Gaza, but they seemed to minimize or dismiss the pro-liberation movement that is happening online, in court, and at protests. Horrific things are happening in Gaza, and there have been ramifications in the US as well. People have been fired, threatened, and child was murdered due to the rising Islamophobia. Anyways… they have good music recommendations.
