Great podcast. I think this is the most knowledgeable and realistic podcast on the Red Sox out there. They provide a great perspective without being overly alarmist to get clicks. My only complaint is I wish they did it more often instead of releasing a podcast 1 or 2 times a week
I’ve listened for a few years and, unlike the Sox performance, the podcast has steadily improved during that time. Very timely, informative coverage and discussions, mixed with a healthy dose of dry wit from both hosts- who aren’t afraid to occasionally offer differing perspectives. Glad this show has been here through good baseball seasons and bad ones.
Sean and Chris do a great job of providing a thoughtful podcast about the Sox that isn’t over the top and hyperbolic and their combined experience and willingness to admit they can be wrong gives weight to their opinions. I would love for Chris to decrease interrupting Sean’s train of thought so much but still my favorite baseball podcast. Oh and they do like each other.
Sean McAdam and Chris Cotillo are knowledgeable baseball writers who bring a no frills perspective on the olde town team several times each week. Good stuff and worth a listen. My only complaint is how often Chris talks over Sean as he’s trying to make a point, often making Sean repeat himself or correct Chris’ sudden and sometimes off topic outburst. Yeah a bit quirky but we all love baseball. It’s still a good podcast.
Chris was out for the last episode so it was Sean and Lauren Campbell. I was interested to hear Lauren’s thoughts but the whole episode was Lauren reading listener questions and Sean answering them. I was disappointed and pretty surprised that Lauren, who writes about the Red Sox for MassLive, didn’t get to express any opinions. I sure hope that was because she didn’t want to, and not because she wasn’t given a chance.
