Thanks you for consistently delivering excellent content! I've listened for a while (since your Rob A days) but truly appreciated this last episode. You hit on a topic relevant to today's issues. Skilled manual labor has become difficult to source and incredibly expensive even when not warranted. It's scary to think what will happen if we can't figure out how to bridge that gap. My bf works at a big complex as the maintenance supervisor and after months of trying to hire they had to promote from within ( great opportunity for a porter). But a few years ago I feel there would have been a line out the door for that position. Full benefits, PTO, decent wage and the opportunity to learn how a large scale operation functions. We see it time and time with our rental and hear it consistently from skilled laborers how there is no one behind them to take over. Not sure how we get there, but would love to hear more discussions around that as it's so relevant to successfully continuing to operate in the real estate market! Thank you!

Thank you David for all the good work you do and for who you are! I love bigger pockets and have listened to hundreds of episodes and all the real estate rookie episodes and now I’m listening to all of yours and am very impressed with your knowledge and expertise. I’ve listened to many real estate shows and audio books and yours and bigger pockets are tied for my favorite!
I drive people around all day and have referred thousands of people all over the country (including Hawaii) to listen because of how much it can benefit them. Whether I am driving another investor, a private money lender, a law student in Buffalo that I can refer him to connect with Ashley, an aspiring real estate agent who I recommend connecting with you so they can learn how to become a top agent, a good contractor (that I keep for myself- lol just kidding I only do cosmetic flips and I can do that kind of work myself, as it turns out the same sledgehammer you use to check the tire pressure on your 18 wheeler can be used to install vinyl flooring).
It’s been a gift to see how your golden advice has helped thousands of people I’ve shared it with. I believe it is in giving that we receive and that everyone can benefit from your podcast because of all the different strategies you share. I used to love listening to David Green and Brandon Turner on bigger pockets, and while the show was not perfect it felt more genuine than David’s new podcast. He starts the show by saying “no sales pitches” and then for the next 30 minutes the whole show is one big sales pitch where he tries to sell you his books, mortgage company and whatever other David green product he has going on at the time. He interviews his employees rather than actual guests. At least with bigger pockets I could fast forward through the advertising, you can’t do that when the whole show is one big advertisement.

I’m a long time listener from bigger pockets and now your own show and I’ve always enjoyed the accurate information and honest approach to real estate. I’m not sure if you’re having AI edit your podcasts or maybe even generate them altogether, but the inaccuracy of the cuts throughout the show are very distracting. It’s fine to restate something or edit to increase the listenability. If it‘s actually a human editing it, I would have them go back and listen through the full episode of 156.
