I’ve just found the podcast on YouTube and decided to “bring it with me”, while I’m driving. I really appreciate the work they put into getting good guests that aren’t just making the podcast circuit. I am finding my Catholic roots again so I really appreciate the Christian perspective on things.
If I could give any unsolicited advice, it would be for them to dig deeper, really lay it all on the line. Forget the likes and appeasing to broad audiences. Once you learn to really dig deeper, people will find you resonate more. Don’t be afraid to voice your opinions more and challenge the guests a little. Just the two cents from a dude with ZERO social media presence or podcast of my own 😄

I've been listening to this podcast for over a year and it's hands down my favorite. I've caught up with everything from the beginning and Tony has done an awesome job developing the show as times changed. That said I do miss the truck driving stories, especially when he had the snow storm and had to report damage to multiple trucks in a single week (coming from a truck mechanic and son of a career LTL trucker).

I was very critical of this podcast a couple years ago, when many stories seemed embellished and forced. However, as time has gone on, Tony has matured and greatly improved as a podcaster and interviewer. The Confessionals has become a regular listen, and I am intrigued with almost every episode as well as enjoying his Christian faith platform. Also, his connections to my local area (Berks County, PA) hit close to my heart.

I follow a lot of paranormal podcasts, and of them all, The Confessionals is the only one where I don’t feel comfortable interacting with the community, especially on Facebook. Everytime I’ve commented literally anything, be it personal experience or otherwise, I’ve gotten attacked in the comments, always with a fiery religious bent that tries to bully you into submission. The comments section for the recent Mormon/Lucifer episode alone was filled to the brim with endless anti-Mormon bigotry. Dude I’m not even Mormon and it made me sick to my stomach seeing all the hatred. There are just so many people interacting with this podcast that think it’s okay to treat others like garbage because they think differently than they do. The show runners have to do a MUCH better job of moderating their community.

I am a long time listener and loved the Confessionals. I’ve purchased all of the documentaries. The direction of the show is changing and I just can’t get behind it. I want so badly to support Tony and the show but it is going overboard with the guest conspiracy theories, weather altering, anti-vax, etc. Just makes me sad.
