I’ve been a listener for years, and this podcast has become the one I look forward to every week. As a new church planter, I hang onto every conversation and every idea. If Carey Nieuwhof decided to post an episode every day, I would listen!
Captivating, vulnerable, sacred, gently powerful, well told story of Eugene Peterson’s life.
It’s hard to articulate how grateful I am for this podcast. I’m not a leader by trade, nor am I vocational ministry, so I always find it kind of funny how much I value this podcast as it’s not exactly made with me in mind. That’s sad, after six years of it consistently being my go to listen, I can easily see how it has had the most positive influence of any content I consume. Whether it’s the series on revival igniting my excitement and passion for all that God is doing in the next generation and encouraging me not to miss this moment, or the series on AI that pushed me to really understand it and use it in my day-to-day life, this podcast has by far led to the most amount of positive in my life. Well, my socials are filled with ways to better my life, this podcast leaves me feeling inspired and encouraged as opposed to less than. I think it’s mostly in the way that Carrie consistently humanizes himself and lays the framework for his guests to do the same. We all dream, and struggle, and have things to say, and he creates room for the wisest voices of our time to do the same.
Long time listener…but I’ve never stopped to say thank you. Thank you for sharing your journey. Thank you to Sean for lending his voice as well. More than we want to admit as pastors we grow weary. So often your guests speak life and hope in our direction from a place of relatability. Thank you for creating a space for that to happen.
Another podcast victim to the almighty dollar. It was a great conversation to listen to but now it’s like all the other podcasts interrupting with ads. Even the most popular leadership podcast (Andy Stanley) doesn’t interrupt his show. Keep ads at the beginning or end but don’t make your listeners reach for their phone while enjoying a conversation in order to fast forward through an ad. Disappointed.
