Honestly, as this Chopin survey progresses, I’ve been realizing that Ben, Garrick, and all others involved have been creating a Chopin artifact that stands tall and may very well be appreciated and learned from for many, many years. I’m not sure any such collaborative high-quality venture exists that resembles it. I get caught up in the fun of it all, relating it to the deluge of great “content” that exists on platforms like YouTube (including many other great Ben Laude pieces) - and then realize that the efforts of the Chopin Podcast actually place it in a different category altogether. It isn’t “content” anymore, it’s a historic information piece on Chopin. Thank you so much for everyone’s work here, especially Ben’s. The world is lucky to have this!

Great podcast and Ben did a brilliant job reporting on all the performances from USA Chopin competition on Miami. This all live streamed to YouTube so now I’m going to go back to see all the highlights and great performances I missed in the hall. Thanks Ben and Rafa (aka clipboard man) for a great week. I expect to see Rafa fan club will start from all the live chat peanut gallery comments.

This podcast brings me such joy. Highlight: the breakdown of the magical (apparently it’s “poly-rhythmic”) moment of the Fourth Ballade both on the Ballades episode and as it gets happily repeated in the Scherzo episode! I love this podcast!
