Calm Rational Truth Backed by Actual Facts! Wow I miss the days when we could sit down with those that didn’t agree with us and have a conversation. Jen represents class, calm and intelligence which seems has been totally lost. Jen you are the only person I can listen to anymore to actually break down what’s going on in a way that is clear, succinct and factual - ie we can verify it! Unlike the stomach turning false boasting we are subjected to everyday. You are a light in these dark days! Please keep going - we are listening and you provide hope that kindness, intelligence, sensibility and collaboration for the people and democracy will return - hopefully soon! 🙏

I am a Conservative and a Trump supporter, so the last thing I thought I'd ever be doing would be giving a podcast like this a five star rating. I am doing so for one reason: Despite the fact that I disagree with Jen on 99 percent of the issues, I can say something that I can't about most liberals, Democrats and others on the left in media or politics. Jen is genuine. She truly believes what she says. Seeing how emotional she got after the mass shooting in Minnesota truly cemented that for me. Whereas most on both sides immediately started the political debate (the left wanting to seize guns and the right wanting to protect their rights), Jen spoke from the point of view of the families, not just those there but as a Mom herself. Unlike every other host and pundit, she allowed herself to become emotional, and to show the sadness that everyone, whichever side of the issue you're on, feels. She showed that, though we may not agree on the solutions, we are all united in our grief and our anger. I admire the courage it took to be so genuine and not hold back the emotion. Whether you agree with her or not, you can always know that when you listen to this podcast, you can trust that Jen truly believes what she says. She's someone you can debate on the issues. I disagree with her, but I respect her.

An interesting podcast with a lively host, but the editing is terrible. How can a national broadcaster treat its podcast audience with such contempt? Adverts frequently cut off the host mid sentence or even mid-word, long silences are included that make a listener stop and check the podcast is still working, and rough edits sometimes even include behind the scenes communications with producers. Very sloppy. Amateur podcasters can do better than this. Embarrassing for a corporation like MSNBC.

Jen is a great presenter for this subject matter. The range of commentators and guests from various parts of the political spectrum help at depth to what can easily be one sided stories. All in all a great show that I always look forward to hearing. It obvious that everyone involved works hard at making the best show possible. Except for whoever controls posting the podcast. The show being cut off due to weird ad break alignment is forgivable. Sometimes, that’s out of the show’s hands for technical reasons. What is fully in their control though is posting the correct show in the first place! Often, the Monday posting is a repeat of Sunday’s show, even though the title and description have changed. An occasional slip is almost inevitable, but lately it’s upwards of 50% of the time. Worse yet, the blunder isn’t corrected until around Thursday (if at all). I’m not sure if the person in charge is too busy or just doesn’t care. Whatever the reason, please fix it. The fans and everyone involved in production deserve better. Please & thank you.
