I was not prepared for how much this podcast would touch me so deeply. Melinda brings something to Beauty Manifest that you just do not find very often. She has the background, a former Sephora beauty director, so she knows that world inside and out. But what she does with this show goes so much deeper than beauty. She goes in on mental health, identity, the messy middle that most people are too afraid to share. She’s so good at creating a brave space so that the guests show up fully. The people she talks to open up in a way that tells you everything about who she is as a human being. You feel it. It does not feel like an interview. It feels like you got invited into a real conversation. I just love how real, authentic, and heartfelt the conversations are!

In a world where it seems like everything revolves around appearance and outward beauty it’s so refreshing to take a moment to focus on internal beauty first like the ladies at TBM do. I felt like I was a friend sitting on the couch with them. Their vulnerability and openness made it so easy to connect with them. Nothing is ever simply black or white and Melinda and Natasha remind me that the middle gray area is ok too (and that area also means growth!). I appreciate that they’ve managed to eliminate the “fluff” in their podcast and cut right to the chase on getting real.
