Jennifer’s was the first podcast I’d ever listened to- and man, was I fortunate to have landed on the best one first. Jennifer is sharp and well-spoken, funny, and has made defining and nailing my own personal style on a daily basis easy and fun. Thank you, Jennifer/Everyday Style School!
This show us bigger than clothing and style. Jen really wants women to feel confident and find their purpose and clothing is a tool to get there. You won’t regret spending time with her listening to her show or being part if her style network.
Still love the info but why so scoldy? The disdain you have for some of your listeners is, at times, very obvious. Well put together, clear and practical. I have been bingeing past episodes. Jen is a skilled educator and my favorite podcast episodes are the ones when she teaches on a specific style topic- fabrics, fits, shopping etc. (like her old episodes), my least favorite are the off-topic interviews. They feel very obligatory and like she is following the whole “how to build your following” by doing collaborations and playing to the social media algorithm. I don’t listen to those. The style chats can be helpful but there is a level of impatience and sometimes disdain (?) that comes out when Jen does the Q&A.
I’ve learned so much from Jen, especially as I transition from young adult college outfits to things I should and can wear to work and out with friends. Jen- could we have an episode on what to do with all of our style “mistakes” that no longer work for us? I would gladly donate most of them, except for a couple of nicer items that were gifts or no longer fit. Thank you so much!
