I like much of what Gaetz says but always thought he seemed too eager to get in front of a camera. I’m not a Trump fan; Gaetz seems loyal to Trump. That’s bad in my book. Getting McCarthy ousted seemed like pointless grandstanding at best and dangerous attention-seeking at worst. BUT, listening to his podcast episode reviewing the speaker of the house candidates surprised me. It’s was almost entirely substance. He had plenty of opportunities to be snarky in front of his own audience but he didn’t indulge. It was a substantive, straight forward review of the candidates. He ended with a compelling argument about the process of electing a new speaker being a win for conservatives no matter the result. I think he’s right. I’m also pleased with the election Mike Johnson. Maybe Gaetz knew what he was doing after all.

My husband and I, just listened to our first episode #122. We learned so much about the candidates who are in the running for the Speaker of the House. It gave us a little insider look at who and what there policies and voting records are. I can’t wait to listen everyday. We are no longer sleepwalking through our responsibilities to make our voices heard. Your a good man, Congressman Gaetz and we have your back in California. Stand strong for for all of us Americans.
