This podcast is truly everything I have ever wanted as a millennial latch key kid. It is as though Kalyn and Christian are in my head reading my mind. It’s the kind of podcast you can’t help speaking out loud to because it really feels like you are hanging out with friends. It’s well made, well edited, spooky yet comforting, and frighteningly nostalgic. With That’s Pretty Dark you’re never really alone, and in a time of loneliness for so many- this podcast is everything. 10/10 cannot recommend highly enough.

I’m a bit picky and kind of a stickler for what podcasts I’ll listen to; I want to be engaged and learning while also entertained (hello, Pisces escapism!) I happened upon TPD via TikTok about 2.5 years ago and I’ve been a faithful listener ever since. As the typical millennial, I thoroughly enjoy Kalyn and Christian’s banter and oftentimes find myself with surprisingly similar memories of childhood regarding the topics covered. I enjoy the energy and effort that both bring to the show with the deep dives in to the histories and backstories and I’m always down for some side notes. Keep up the great work guys!

My all time favorite podcast. It’s like they do book reports for tv episodes/ movies from our nostalgic past, delving into why we love (and fear) these movies so much. 10/10 I listen while I work which makes working a breeze!
