What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Spirit Talk Show: Bedtime Stories for Grown Ups is unlike any podcast I've been on. Doyle is a gracious host who knows how to make guests feel comfortable while keeping the conversation engaging and thoughtful. The co-hosts add their own perspectives and commentary, creating the feeling of sitting around with friends rather than listening to an interview. One of my favorite features is the original story and poem they create for each guest—a creative, personal touch that makes every episode memorable. I especially enjoyed the easy back-and-forth banter and their willingness to follow the conversation wherever it led. If you're looking for something warm, original, and refreshingly different, this show is well worth your time.

Headcoachchip · Jul 2026

I was absolutely blown away by the sheer amount of pre-show effort executed by Doyle and Howie...seriously! Over the past 3+ decades, I have enjoyed life as a Radio Personality, Stand-up Comedian, Keynote Speaker, Visualization Strategist, Storyteller, Humor Coach and more. I've been blessed to be a featured guest on more than 300 podcasts and broadcasts around the world, and there were flavors from EVERY PART of my life included here! Without a doubt, I have never seen such dedication to preparation. From the moment Doyle hit the record button, we enjoyed one of the smoothest-flowing conversations ever. Doyle and Howie do their research, and it shows. I've already warned my 78-year-old mother: get some tissues, this show will be a legendry example of her coveted MMC (Made Mama Cry) Rating!

Steve Gamlin · Apr 2026

It was such a pleasure speaking with Doyle and Howie - they make a great team! Our conversation flowed easily and naturally, exploring meaningful ideas about the power of early childhood experiences and the importance of “unlearning” what no longer serves us through creativity. And of course, some poetry and storytelling read aloud by both gentleman!

-DHB · Apr 2026

Oh my goodness, what FUN! Doyle and Howie are hilarious and do such a great job with their entire format of the show! It's the best time I've had guesting on a pod, EVER. Great conversationalists, loose style, lots of room for improv and laughter. We had such a great time...and their use of AI is really interesting. Blended into the show seamlessly, their use of AI opens new doors to understanding the self and even more dynamic conversation.
