What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I’m amazed by the brevity and accuracy of the news Reuter provide through this medium. It’s difficult to find news to trust nowadays but Reuter pay attention to deliver real news at this time.

Stranger on Earth · Jul 2023

I only recently started reading Reuters News when the war started in Ukraine and was blown away by the depth and quality of their coverage. But it wasn't until I started listening to the Reuters World News podcast that I truly felt like I was right there on the ground with their reporters. The sounds recorded by the journalists create a unique atmosphere that really helps to bring the stories to life. It's one thing to read about a conflict, but it's quite another to hear gunfire, explosions, and people shouting. I find myself feeling a greater sense of empathy and connection to the people affected by these events.

If you want a comprehensive and unbiased podcast that delves deep into the top stories of the day, then you will love Reuters World News. Reuters has been my No.1 choice for news for years and a trusted source of information. The podcast is an extension of their exceptional journalism and gives a more nuanced perspective on the issues. The podcast covers a diverse range of topics, from political developments to economic indicators and cultural news. Its 10-minute format makes it convenient to listen to while making breakfast, commuting or working out. I really hope they eventually expand the podcast and offer dedicated shows on topics such as climate change and U.S. news.

Lisa Shumaker · Feb 2023

Propublica just broke this story of their investigation: Trump is using his media company to allow rich donors to buy a piece of Trump and reap the benefits in the form of government contracts and tax breaks if he gets elected again. The investigative reporting connects the new “Trump TV” to a streaming technology company in Melania’s home country (Slovenia) and to a rich Republican donor who had made millions off his relationship with Trump already.

midwestBlue · Aug 2024

I like my news to be relayed to me as is, with out the opinion of a reporter or the media house trying to manipulate my opinion. I liked Reuter news because of its neutrality and objectivity in reporting news stories, that set it apart from many major news outlets that chose to pick sides either left or right. Recently however I find myself dismayed and frustrated at the progressive left ward shift in Reuter’s coverage of news stories all over the world. Will unfollow.

Anne00Ri · Nov 2024

If you like one-sided, biased news, then this is your source. However, if you can ignore the biased political reporting, there is some decent reporting on other topics. Update: The biased reporting is getting worse as we approach the US presidential election. What’s wrong with fair coverage for both candidates? Time to unfollow the show.
