I’ve always been a fan of this hilarious, informative, and unhinged (in a good way.) As a big fan of Mad Men, hearing these takes on the episodes is great, especially the historical context component.
This is why podcasts have rewind buttons. You are going to miss things because you’re laughing so much. I laugh myself into cough attacks at least once every episode. Vince, Matt, and their guests breathe new life into our old favorites and give us great excuses to rewatch for the 80th time. Solid A+.
I’ve written several reviews since I found out about Matt & Vince during early COVID and still love this Podcast after 5 times re-listening. The whole show is fantastic, the guests are great, and I particularly love Matt’s parody songs. The last one for Made in America was the PERFECT selection. After all of Matt’s stories about Stephan Jenkins throughout the show and to end the series with that parody song was genius! Vince was right when he said Matt deserves much more recognition for his work. I wish both of them the best!
Enjoy rewatching some of the finest television paired with this excellent podcast. Vince and Matt with guests share hilarious takes along with legit insight on the themes, time periods and character building throughout each series.
I’ve listened to a lot of man men podcasts - this one makes me laugh but also has some interesting discussions mixed in with silly commentary and songs. They often have good guests (esp the women) that add to the fun !
This is transparently just a vehicle for the hosts (and guest) to riff off each other while they’re not doing standup or guesting on other pods. They barely seem to understand or care about the core aspects of the show they claim to love. Half a typical episode is “this is such bad writing/scene transition/acting” and the other half is long tangents about literally anything else other than the show this is supposedly about. Waste of time if you’re looking for actual media analysis and thoughtful reaction with comedic angle.
