If you think ‘oh God, now what?’ every time you open your news app, here’s the secret: journalists feel this way, too. Veteran journalist and host Niala Boodhoo created this show because she’s close to the stories of our time, but also passionate about religious wisdom’s ability to guide us when things are difficult. Each week, through conversations with faith leaders of all kinds, you’ll learn how religious and spiritual traditions can help us live with the news, not just survive it. Love that Niala is hosting this super engaging show. Can already tell there will be amazing guests and great conversations. We need this right now.
It’s exciting to see such a high-caliber podcast led by such a gifted host. I haven't seen a show blend journalistic grit and theological wisdom this effectively since Krista Tippett’s 'Speaking of Faith'/'On Being.' Ms. Boodhoo has created something special with this podcast, and I’m looking forward to all the insightful conversations to come.
I didn’t know I needed this podcast, but I 💯 did. Thank you for bringing together these thinkers for an exploration of what it means to live your values. I’ll be listening!
After the first episode I want more! There was so many nuggets of wisdom and thought I didn’t want the conversation to end. This was such an engaging and wonderful look into how values and different religions speak to my daily look at news and headlines and life. Can’t wait for more.
