Welcome to Not Yet Now, a podcast where we explore the tension of living in the "already, not yet" reality of God's kingdom. Together, we'll dive into how Christ's reign is breaking into our world today, even as we long for its complete fulfillment. Join us as we reflect on how this dynamic shapes our culture, our lives, and our calling to live in the light of the kingdom that is both here and still to come.

I have been praying for a steady resource that teaches through the lens of our relationship with God and how we view him, and this is a good one! Looking forward to spending lots of prayerful hours listening to this Christ-centered wisdom, growing in my God-given identity for his glory.
I listen to unashamed a good bit and heard Zach sub for a corona stricken Jase for a few episodes. Liked what I heard from him there and decided to give NYN a listen. You guys use a lot of big words that are foreign to me but after a few rewinds I was able to keep up. I like how you used your uncle Phil seeing the beach. For me it gave an idea of how we can’t even begin to imagine eternity with Christ along with a couple other things. Great example and I really learned a lot from you 2 talking.
Awesome!!! Great honest real conversations with Christ as the center of it. I am hooked.
I could relate so much to Zach’s testimony. A couple years ago someone I loved walked away from their faith after a tragic life event. This person washing their hands of their faith and declaring their unbelief so passionately caused me to head down a path of question fundamental things about God; why did he create me? He doesn’t need me? He is perfectly content in Himself and the trinity. I serve in full time ministry as the head of a Christian school. I hid my “spiritual crisis” for at least a year. Not that i didn’t believe. I was riddled with doubt. When I finally reached out to my pastor the response was - you bring Him Glory. In my heart I knew this. I grew up in the church. I’ve been a Christian since I was 6. I’m in my 50’s now and prior to this I have always felt the hand of God on my life. His presence was so near. I had walked through rough circumstances and always leaned in to God. I sat with this answer for a time, but in my heart I knew the scriptures depict a God that does not need me to bring Him glory. I reached out to more pastors that I trusted, and knew they were men of the word. I got answers like - “you won’t fully know this side of heaven”. It wasn’t until I started listening to the unashamed podcast that I felt my head, heart and soul start to compel my doubt. When this podcast was introduced I was hopeful. Your theological conversations have been like a healing balm for my soul. I’ve been desperate, clinging to - “Lord, help my unbelief” You’ve presented the Gospel, the character of God and the Kingdom in a manner that has moved me from “blind” faith, to “reasonable” faith. Thank you. Please don’t dumb it down. I have to listen over and over with Bible in hand, grappling, but I look forward to it each week.
