Part of the reason Ben and Aaron lost a lot of followers was that many of us long time listeners got tired of the childish racist/sexist comments that seemed to continue because they refused to adapt. It feels like Ben and Aaron instructed these guys to throw in some of the same kind of language. The thing is, so many of us are grown adults now and it seems forced and annoying. What was funny in 2008 is tired now.

I’m being kind with my stars… Some of the episodes are interesting but the hosts can be inappropriate saying racist and misogynistic things. The electric car diesel comment was bizarre. That’s not the norm for people charging at home. Some self reflection on the hosts could be helpful. Do not do any more Asian accents you’ve got to know that’s not cool.

I’ve only checked out two episodes so far, but they’ve been quite good. No blaring or thumping music, over-the-top exclamations, or endless ads for garbage products. Looking forward to more entertaining and engaging content!

Hate to say this as a long time listener, but this show just isn’t worth it anymore. Original hosts have been in my ear weekly for almost twelve years, and you could tell they were burned out by the end. Fair enough. New hosts lack the chemistry and more importantly the ability to captivate with the retelling of a story. I used to recommend this show to everyone, and even bought a few plus subscriptions for good friends so they could laugh along as well, but all of that is cancelled now. It’s just not worth it.

MU was one of my favorite podcasts but Ben seems to have dropped the ball in vetting the new hosts. Brother-dude Brandon is a major annoyance, defaulting to spouting rapid-fire new age “manifesting” nonsense in between all the shout-outs to his buddies. The other guy, Joe, is less annoying, but not also very good. Both seem under-educated and fairly ignorant, and not particularly interested in the facts and details of the material they’re covering. MU needs to start over and find two new hosts worthy of its audience.
