I came to this podcast after being a fan of Dylan’s previous work as producer of Bandsplain and then the fantastic Lost Notes season “Groupies”.
I wasn’t sure how engaged I would remain since I wasn’t initially that interested in the nascent indie/americana overlap (which is not exclusively what’s covered here but is certainly a focus) but I am a lyrics person and have become increasingly convinced that something is indeed happening here.
The interviews are good hangs. I’ve come to be fans of several artists that were previously unknown to me (Dean Johnson, Ryan Davis) as well coming to truly appreciate artists who I was vaguely aware of but had not given proper consideration (Wednesday!).
Highly recommended.

I don’t listen to many pods, but I’m enjoying this one. Great curation of who she chooses to talk with. I really enjoyed the convos with Luke Temple and Kevin Morby. I’ll be a regular listener.

Dylan feels like I'm talking to a good friend who knows the ins and outs of all the bands.
Don't get deceived by the the comfortable very personable feel - the interviews are deep, and wonderfully constructed.
Jenn Wassner was a great interview

Dylan has a magical way of seeing the world, and it’s such a treat to hear her in conversation with so many creatives. This podcast is such a hidden gem and I recommend it to all of my barista and indie-loving friends.
