I have listened to every episode and have gotten the privilege of meeting Ilana herself a few times. She is truly as magnificent in person as she is on this podcast. Her authenticity and sense of humor in every episode makes my commute so much more pleasurable! I wish all interviewers were as insightful and open as Ilana was! For all fans of the entertainment industry, or if you just want to feel less alone, I highly recommend listening to this podcast!

The host occasionally gushes a little too much for me, but otherwise this podcast has been a real find. It’s a treasure trove of respected theater artists that you always wanted to hear more from, but might not have been famous enough for them to land a spot on a late night talk show. To Ms. Levine’s credit, she REALLY lets the more complex answers spool out, and doesn’t feel the need to jump in and interrupt them. It also helps that she’s in the biz.

This podcast is so interesting, heart warming, funny & the ultimate for any theatre lover. I listen to just about all the Broadway podcasts & this is my own my very favorites. Ilana asks such considerate and well thought out questions & is such a good friend to the hosts you feel like you’re just hanging out with two incredibly cool theatre people. Can’t recommend enough!

Really love this podcast! Loved the episode with Edie Falco ! I love when Edie said she probably wasn’t supposed to say acting school took away her confidence and Ilana said no someone is listening and thinking that’s me! Well that person IS me! I was very encouraged to hear what Edie said about how learning the intellectual side of acting made things less clear because that’s how I feel too. The more I study the intellectual side of acting the more confusing I find it and it makes me feel like I have no idea what I’m doing anymore. I thought I was the only one, but now I know there is hope for me!
