I started learning about 7 months ago and Khaled has been such an amazing resource! I strongly recommend checking out his content on other platforms as well. I’m trying to set aside the money to buy his book and also subscribe to the higher tier on Patreon, because even with the free content I have had amazing results. I can text and have small conversations, and understand a large amount of shows and music now.
I’ve been studying Levantine Arabic off and on for years and Khaled’s podcast is definitely my favorite. He speaks clearly and slowly so I catch the new vocabulary much more easily than with other podcasts. He also narrates engaging stories which are fun to follow and provides vocabulary lists for each lesson. I’m happy that I can also support him on Patreon as he’s a good teacher who deserves support for his efforts.
This podcast seems like it is created for the benefit of Arabic learners. Whether it is an episode focused on a particular study lesson or a short narrated story of the author’s experience, the tone is engaging and the diction is clear. Episodes seem suited to a variety of ability levels and becuase of the speaker’s clarity and measured pace, the episodes lend themselves to repeated listening. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn the Levantine spoken dialect. Patrick B
There is so much self advertising toward the paid version. Almost all free content on the podcast is useless unless you get the paid version. Otherwise the guy is incredibly pedagogic and engaging.
